This Monday, I woke up at 5 again and went to buy breakfast with dad before he goes to the farmland. I started packing this morning, and it only took me 45 minutes to do so! Then dad and mom went with me to buy lunch boxes and go to the train station. We ate there, and then they bought station tickets to go in with me to help me carry luggage. I took the 13:03 train leaving Hualien, and arrived in Hsinchu at 17:08. My middle school friend astro came to pick me up, as usual. We went back to his house first and rested for a bit. Then we went to dinner with Libby and aeon. We had a nice 2.5-hr dinner, talking about old times, the past year (I saw them last summer), the present, and the future. We also chat randomly about academic matters and such—they are definitely three of my closest friends from middle school. [Non Sequitur: Canberra man runs half marathon in hot air balloon] |
