2005-07-01 The Origin of Our Praise
These people honor me with their lips,
but their hearts are far from me.
They worship me in vain;
their teachings are but rules taught by men.

Everytime I come across these type of passages, I must review where do my praise towards the Lord come from. Do I really love Him with my heart? Or just with my mind? "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind." It is not enough to only love Him in the mind.
